This book is about a boy named Robin who likes to carve and learns to walk by using crutches.
This is a really funny part of the book:
Brother Luke, John, and Robin stopped at an inn called the White Hart. There were two thieves inside the White Hart. Robin heard
them speaking about stealing the money which Brother Luke carried. Robin woke Brother Luke and Brother Luke woke John. They heard the robbers say, "Look, the birds have flown." The robbers started to chase them. Robin had an idea. He took one of his crutches and threw it toward the robbers. The robbers thought they had Brother Luke. They fell upon the crutch and Brother Luke, John the Minstrel, and Robin, all got away safely.
I highly recommend this book. I am happy that my college friend, Elizabeth, had her mom tell my mom about it.
